DEB Vintage Motorworks is a group of people who have either been in the professional car restoration business or have been restoring/working on cars for customers for the majority of their lives. Between us we have experience in building gold level concourse cars, working on race cars, working in body shops, building very nice cruiser/show cars, and building reliable drivers. One day we decided to get together and start our own business in an old factory in Cincinnati.
Since we’ve been in this location, a lot has happened. We’ve added people, equipment, and acquired 2 additional businesses. At any given time we seem to have roughly a dozen customer cars in the shop. Some are full restorations, some are just in for maintenance or smaller jobs. We currently have 7 people working in the shop and are working on adding a couple more. We have expanded our fabrication equipment: welders, plasma cutters, shrinker/stretcher, box/pan brake, shears, corner notcher, planishing hammer, lathe, mill, tubing benders, notchers, exhaust machine, etc… We have more lifts, more detailing equipment, a new devilbliss down draft paint booth. Probably the biggest changes are the extra businesses we’ve acquired. A few years ago we took over The Winner’s Circle which is a Sprite and Midget parts business that has specialized in race parts since 1967. With that addition we now have accounts with around 100 different suppliers which enables us to get more parts and at better prices. we also have the luxury of having about any Spridget part on the shelf. We still sell all of these parts to the public either through the website www.spridget.com or by phone 216-889-4666. We also very recently took over the Spridget portion of Preform Resources which is a fiberglass company that makes many of the popular fiberglass panels and kits on Spridget race cars. We also have stock fiberglass panels. Our unique facility allows us to put this business in a completely separate building.
